Welcome to the South East Texas Association of Pupil Transporters web site.  As you can see, it is a work in progress.  It is our hope to present a useful and informational site that will contribute to the spirit of TAPT in offering support and information for anyone in need of answers. 

I am very proud to represent this group as their president.  There are many members in our organization that have good knowledge and many years of service to this industry.  We as well as our organizations within TAPT are always looking for innovative ideas to make sure that our students have the safest ride to and from school and extra-curricular events.  We have become aware of alot of events that happen outside what we considered to be the scope of area.  Our recent hurricanes, terrorist activity, and driving on the open roads are some of the areas we have had to become acquainted with.  Educating our drivers through new information coming from , laws, policies, and venders are very important as the more we educate our drivers, the safer our students are. 

I look forward to working with my local chapter and all of the members of TAPT to keep the market on the pinnacle of safety.  Our goal, being the “wheels of education” as always is to keep our employees and students in the safest environment that is available.  We invite you to attend any of our upcoming meetings, they are listed below.   Meeting start at 10:00 am.
